She won other contestants since she was confident in giving her answers and this showed that she will be able to promote tourism in Uganda and also help in increasing safaris in Uganda, this is to help in developing the tourism sector in the country.
Uganda has got many attractions which are loved by many tourists who come for Uganda safaris; this means that Miss Tourism will help in marketing Uganda as at tourist destination hence helping in improving the tourism industry in Uganda.
Miss Uganda is going to help in representing Uganda on many occasions and this will help in marketing Uganda and also promoting the tourism ventures in Uganda, this will help in increasing the safari tours to Uganda hence developing the tourism sector.

Mountain gorillas in Uganda.- Gorilla Safari News

Gorilla in BwindiUganda’s mountain gorillas are mostly found in Bwindi Impenetrable National park and also in Mgahinga national park, these mountain gorillas have attracted many gorilla trekking safaris to Uganda. This has helped in increasing the revenues of the country and also developing the tourism sector.
Mountain gorillas in Uganda have so far been the highest revenue contributor to the country and this means that the country has always received many tourists who came for gorilla tracking safaris to Uganda. This has greatly helped in developing the tourism industry.
Mountain gorillas in Uganda have groups and these groups are trekked differently in Uganda and only 8 people are allowed to track a particular group at a particular day, this has helped in conserving these mountain gorillas and also helping in increasing the gorilla trekking safaris to Uganda.
Bwindi Impenetrable National park is a home to a half of the remaining mountain gorillas in the wild, these are considered to be endangered species which need to be protected and this will help in maintaining the number of these gorillas hence attracting more mountain gorilla tracking safaris in Uganda.
 Mountain gorillas are threatened by many factors and these include; the diseases, poaching, hunting, and many others, this has tried to reduce the number of mountain gorillas hence affecting the mountain gorilla safaris in Uganda.

Silverback lodge is located in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park which harbors half of the mountain gorillas in the wild; these have attracted many gorilla trekking safaris, which have helped in increasing the revenues of the country and also developing the tourism sector.
The lodge is located in Buhoma sector of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the western Uganda, the lodge is just a 5 minutes’ walk to the national park and it has got sweeping views of the valley and forests that are surrounding it. The Lodge has greatly attracted many visitors who come for mountain gorilla tracking safaris to Bwindi since it’s a nice mid-range lodge.
The lodge has got nice sweeping views of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park which is a home to many mountain gorillas; it also has Habituated Chimpanzees, more than 100 species of mammals, birds and trees, all these can be enjoyed by the tourists who say at Silver back lodge. This lodge has got a pleasant atmosphere which is loved by the tourists who come for gorilla safaris in Uganda.
Silver back is one of the best lodges in Uganda’s Impenetrable Bwindi Forest gorilla park, it’s a small lodge but comfortable for the tourists who come for gorilla visits to Bwindi forest. The lodge has got seven rooms which were designed using local materials to blend with natural environment, such as forest vines, sisal rope and purple slate stone.

Uganda conserving Wildlife.

Human beings mainly depend on the wild animals, birds, insects, the amphibians and many other creatures. Even though many Ugandans don’t care for the wild animals, they need to be protected and preserved in order to encourage more visitors to come for wildlife safaris to Uganda.
Protecting and conserving the animals is so fundamental since, they benefit the human beings so much, people especially those living near the national parks where these animals are kept have greatly benefit inform of food, and also form the tourism which is carried out in the area, this has helped in engaging the local people to participate the conservation of wildlife hence increasing safaris to Uganda.
The main goal of conservation is to improve the lives of people living around the game reserves; this has been done through the conservation programmes which have been put in place to protect both the animals and also the people who are living near the game parks. Iby’Iwacu cultural villageThis village is located near the car park at the trail of the mountain gorilla groups of Volcanoes National park; it was founded in 2004 by Edwin Sabuhoro of Rwanda Eco tours so as to help in improving the livelihood of the local communities who are living around Volcanoes National park, this cultural village has attracted many Rwanda Safaris which has helped in raising incomes for the local communities.
The starting of the cultural village also has helped in reducing the human pressure on the park’s resources. This is because this village project provides employment opportunities to the local people hence improving their lives; they get jobs from vegetables and mushroom farming, bee keeping and tourism. This has helped in increasing safaris to Rwanda hence developing the tourism sector.
Iby’Iwacu offers a busy programme which lasts two hours and also slots after a morning mountain gorilla trekking tour. This setting is a fantastic wooden and thatched replica of traditional Rwandan Palace; it has also got an ideal stage for traditional Intore dancers which helps them to share their drumming and dance routines. This has helped in attracting many safaris in Uganda.
The cultural village also offers guided walks to the tourists who come for safari visits to Rwanda. This village walk takes around an hour and you can freely take photos as you engage in the walk around the villages of Rwanda.

Uganda to continue benefiting from British Airways multiple flights.-Uganda Safaris & Tours

British air ways is continuing to have its four times operation of flights to Uganda in a week and this is becoming important since this is helping in increasing the Uganda safaris, and also increasing the revenues of the country and developing the tourism industry. This is due to the easier movement of passengers to the country.
The return flights which are operated on Mondays, Fridays, and Wednesdays and also on Saturdays are always expected to depart from Entebbe at exactly at 1, which helps passengers in connecting to London within a few hours so that they can get on their continuing flights. This has helped increasing safari visits to Uganda since there is easy movement of international tourists.
This schedule has helped in offering better connections to the tourists who come for safaris in Uganda; this will help them to get better services through the new terminal. This will however help in improving safari tours to Uganda.
The passengers who will be travelling to other countries from Uganda will be helped since they will find it easy to connect too many countries of their choice and also be able to travel to Uganda 4 times a week if they want. 700 international tourists to witness the solar eclipse in Uganda.-Uganda Safaris & Tours news

imagesAccording to paper by ministry of Tourism, the minister, Hon. Maria Mutagamba said that Uganda is expected to generate over 568,400 dollars from international tourists who are going to come for total eclipse viewing in Uganda, this will also help in increasing safari visits and also increasing the revenue of the country.
The minister of tourism also said that over 3000 domestic tourists are expected to attend to the viewing of the total eclipse; this is to help in increasing Uganda safaris and also developing the tourism sector in Uganda.
It has been noted that the tourism sector has been registering bookings from visitors coming to Uganda for the event; this means that there will be pressure on the accommodation facilities and services in the areas where the eclipse is going to happen. This means that the number of safaris to Uganda is going to be high.
This event is going to be used to market Uganda globally and there are many ministries which are going to help in effecting this in the country. This means that the tourists who will be coming to Uganda for safari tours are going to increasing, which will help in developing the country and also the tourism sector.
Uganda has been identified as the best location for viewing the eclipse and this has brought in many people to prepare for the event, this is to help in increasing visits to the country and also helping in developing the tourism sector in the country.
The event is to take place in Pakwach and this is where people will converge to view the eclipse, however the surrounding villages will also be able to view the event though in distance. Mountain Elgon caldera is the largest in the world.

calderaMountain Elgon is considered to have the largest surface areas in the world or among the volcanoes in the whole world; it has also got many cliffs which have always attracted many Uganda safaris, this has helped in increasing the revenues of the country hence developing the tourism sector.
The Caldera has got many caves, waterfalls and gorges which are notable with the romantic Sipi falls; this caldera covers 40 square km at the top of mountain Elgon, this place is frequently visited by tourists on the safaris since it was named after the Elgeyo tribe, which lived in the huge caves on one side of mountain.
Mountain climbing on Mountain Elgon is an alternative and better than any climbing done in East Africa, this is because it’s easier to access throughout the year, it’s also less congested and it has got many attractions which are enjoyed by the tourists who come for safari visits to Uganda. The place has got good climate and a lower elevation and also the tourists to climb the peaks don’t require any equipments or special experience.
There are attractions found at Mountain Elgon and these include; the sasa trail which is the shortest but toughest route to the mountain peaks. This trail helps the tourists to traverse the community land and also to explore the Bamasaba farming settlements and the culture, this trail has greatly attracted many safari tours to Uganda which has helped in the development of the tourism sector.
The Sipi trail is also a great tourist attraction and it’s done at Kapkwai forest exploration centre. It’s considered to be the longest trail to the peaks, passing through the north western mountain side through the tutum cave in order to enter the caldera and also reach Wagagai peak. The trail has also got falls commonly known as the sipi falls and these have attracted many safaris to Uganda hence increasing visitor numbers.
