The chief executive of the Uganda Tourism Board Mr Asiimwe Stephen has gathered all his efforts to do anything that can attract tourists to come for safaris in Uganda so as to boost the tourism sector. Mr. Asiimwe has encouraged the local people to do what they can so as to promote more Uganda visits and uplift the tourism sector emphasizing that Uganda’s development is also based in tourism.
The
proposal announced by Stephen Asiimwe, the chief executive of Uganda
Tourism Board is basing on marketing the cultural activities of the
local tribes of Uganda so as to promote more safari visits to Uganda.
These include the ‘’imbalu’’ called circumcision of the Bagishu, and
many of the Baganda, Banyankole, Banyoro and Basoga. These will attract
the tourists hence increase the number of tours in Uganda.
The chief executive of Uganda tourism board says the tourism sector has to be developed
so as to promote more Uganda visits. This therefore prompted the
ministry of finance to give $2m to the tourism sector so as to develop
it. This money helps to improve the infrastructure of Uganda so as to
provide better facilities to the tourists on Uganda safaris. This has therefore increased safari tours to Uganda hence making Uganda a tourist destination.
The people of bunyoro have concentrated on the oil resources which are not everlasting. This has reduced the energy and concentration in other sector like tourism and agriculture hence reducing visits in Uganda. The President of Uganda has therefore called upon the people of Uganda to put their efforts in the sectors like tourism and agriculture where they will earn more benefits and also boost the economy of Uganda as well. This is because if the tourism sector is developed it will help boost Uganda’s economy and increase the number of Uganda visits. This is because investors who will come in form of tourists and invest in Uganda hence providing room for employment
opportunities. This will therefore help stop the problem of poverty

The Rwanda
Development board and Uganda Wildlife Authority have joined together so
as to boost the tourism sector in Uganda and Rwanda through preserving mountain gorillas. This has therefore promoted more gorilla safaris to Uganda because the tourism sector is becoming the first priority sector in Uganda and Rwanda. This will provide more security to the rare mountain gorillas which attract more gorilla trekking safaris in Uganda and Rwanda.
This will therefore maintain and increase the number of gorillas in Uganda and Rwanda hence will therefore increase more gorilla trekking safaris
in both Uganda and Rwanda. This will provide enough treatment to the
mountain gorillas since they will always be treated to avoid their
decrease hence promoting more gorilla tours in Rwanda and Uganda. There will also be protection of the gorillas which cross boarders hence maintaining their number and attracting more Uganda and Rwanda gorilla visits.
The agreement will help generate more revenues to the government of Uganda and Rwanda arising from the gorilla tracking tours in both Uganda and Rwanda.
The revenues will therefore help boost the tourism sector in Rwanda and
Uganda since they will help improve the infrastructures of Uganda and
Rwanda including roads, hotels, lodges, hospitals and so many others so
as to provide better services to the tourists on Uganda and Rwanda safaris hence attracting more tourists to both Uganda and Rwanda.
