The number of gorillas in Rwanda has been increased in Rwanda hence promoting more gorilla tracking tours in Rwanda. This has therefore promoted the tourism sector in Rwanda through the revenues collected from the tourists who come for gorilla safaris in Rwanda.
This
is so because the problem of poaching has been solved in Rwanda, there
has been treatment of the gorillas by the special doctors, there has
been protection of the habitats of gorillas and so many others. This has therefore maintained and also increased the number of safari tours in Rwanda hence promoting more gorilla trekking visits in Rwanda.
The gorillas are the most primate attractions and rare hence attracting more safaris in the places where they are found. The gorillas are found in volcanoes of Rwanda, Bwindi Impenetrable and Mgahinga of Uganda. This therefore attracts tourists to come for gorilla visits in those areas hence promoting the tourism sector.
